“The Rails and slats arrived. I set them up. They are great. The slats are the best I have ever seen. The mattress and box springs have never been so comfortable. You guys can be proud of your product.” -Mike S.
Full size bed rails with hooks come in packs of two. They also fit twin size beds. These bed rails for a full size bed are 76 inches long and made of wood. They replace metal or wooden bed rails that have warped, been lost, or damaged over time.
Please note that wooden bed rails come in a dark, medium, and light finish and unfinished. If you require a perfect match, order the unfinished bed rails, and work with your paint store to select the right stain.
Side rails for twin beds or full size beds are made of high quality wood and come in three standard finishes. The wood slat bearer will accommodate either wood or metal slats. We recommend our center leg support system for a fix it and forget it project!
Our wood bed rails are made from a 7/8 inch plywood core with a veneer finish. This is stronger than solid wood. We finish it off with a polyurethane clear coat to protect the wood stain. All are edge banded to keep smooth edges.
Today’s bedding foundations need more support in the center, than the bedding of days past. Without adequate support under the foundation, even the best bedding available will eventually sag thus causing the side rails to warp or break. Bedding manufacturers recommend the extra under bed supports and may void warranties if support isn’t added to Queen size and above. The wood bed rails will fit all head and footboards. (Will not work on headboard/footboard sets designed for bolt-on rails).
Choose from 3 stain colors of light, medium, or dark. Also available unfinished if you wish to apply your own stain color and finish. Same quality. Exact color may be somewhat different depending upon the wood, or the tint settings on your monitor may make the colors appear different.
Note: We cannot guarantee our wood rails will be an exact color match to your existing headboard/footboard set. We recommend you choose unfinished and stain to match.
